Kitty Man - Director and Founder
Kitty Man is the driving force behind KM Music School, bringing over 23 years of professional experience as a pianist and educator. As Director, she leads the school with a clear vision: to combine technical excellence with creativity, while fostering a lifelong love of music in every student.
Trained at City University, London (BMus Hons) and the Guildhall School of Music & Drama, Kitty brings both academic depth and performance expertise to her leadership.
Since founding the school in 2019, she has built and now oversees a multi-instrumental teaching faculty, guided by her core philosophy - “The KM Standard.” This approach ensures high-quality teaching, structured learning, and a supportive, inspiring environment for all students.
Kitty personally supervises the school’s teaching framework across piano, violin, and voice, maintaining strong ABRSM results while prioritising each student’s individual musical journey.
She also hand-selects and mentors every member of the teaching team, ensuring consistency, professionalism, and a shared commitment to the school’s ethos: “nurturing through music.”
Under her direction, KM Music School continues to grow as a trusted and valued part of the South West London community.

Rachele Howes - Events Co-orindator
A graduate of Trinity Laban and the Royal College of Music, Rachele Howes loves to curate musical events and opportunities. She believes deeply in the power of music to unite people and create positive change. Building on her school experience organising children's concerts, charity fundraisers and outreach sessions, Rachele continues to play an active role in the music events scene.
Currently, Rachele works for the Croydon Performing Arts Festival, where she plays a crucial role in the smooth running of festival days and the Gala Concert. She is excited to begin her latest challenge as a teacher for KM Music School. As Events Co-ordinator, she will also oversee student shows, concerts, and a variety of new creative initiatives.
Zara Roberts - Business Manager
Zara is the Business Manager at KM Music School, supporting the smooth day-to-day running of the school so the team can stay focused on what matters most: helping students learn and enjoy music. With over 20 years’ experience in administration and customer service, and over four years in business management, she leads on customer care, enquiries and team coordination - making sure families feel informed, welcomed, and supported from the very first message.
She’s proud to support a female-led business and loves being part of a school built on community, encouragement, and high standards.
Zara brings a calm, organised approach behind the scenes, helping everything run seamlessly for students, parents, and teachers alike.
What Zara enjoys most is hearing feedback about the music teachers - because it’s a reminder that the small things done in the background really do matter.
She holds various professional qualifications, but believes life experience has taught her just as much, and she brings that practical, people-first mindset into every interaction.
